Technology Links and Resources
There are so many...it is hard to choose!
| One of my favorite
resources on the web is Kathy Schrock. She knows so much about
using technology in the classroom. Her website has so much
information, you may never see all of it! Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators |

| This is my all time
favorite science website. There is so much information here for
both teachers and students. Students can enter at different levels.
It is great! Windows to the Universe |
|
| Delicious is a great way
to save your bookmarks online. I never realized I needed that until
I got a new hard drive and all my bookmarks on FireFox were
gone. Delicious |

| Smart technology has
thousands of lessons for the Smartboard just waiting to be used.
You can search by grade, by standard, by topic. Check them
out! SMART Notebook Lesson Activities |
|
| Need some short videos
in math class? These were made by teachers and kids! Mathtrain TV |

| This is a searchable
wiki about curriculum. You can find lessons for any grade and
topic. The best thing is, you can also add your own lessons to
share with others! Curriki |
|
| This is the most amazing
performance of math I've ever seen! I saw Arthur Benjamin in Reno,
then looked him up online. You HAVE to watch this video! He's
incredible!!! Arthur Benjamin Mathemagic |

| Have you ever wanted to
share a great website, but the url was so long you made mistakes
copying it? Either that or when you copied and pasted it into your
email the added line breaks made the link not work? There is a
solution! Go to Tiny URL! All you do is copy and paste your huge
url in a box and with one click, a much smaller url is created that
links exactly where you want! Tiny URL |
|
| This is a great website for putting words to big ideas. It is called Wordle. You type in lots of words that go with your topic, even repeat a few, then click, "Go." A beautiful word cloud is created. You can even change it if you don't like the first one! You're going to love this one! | ![]() |
| A fun website for illustrating phrases is called Phrasr. You type in a phrase, or a simile or metaphor and pictures are put with the words. You can change the pictures if you want to, or even eliminate pictures for some words. | |
| If you are tired of having students draw posters for projects, try Glogster. Students can add pictures, writing, and drawings about a topic. The best thing is you can create a class account and have student passwords so their work can be kept private. |
