Message from the Superintendent
Welcome to Hot Springs County Schools in Thermopolis, Wyoming. In our district, we are committed to offering our students programs and opportunities that we believe will provide the academic and affective skills necessary to be successful in the 21st Century. The success of our district is a result not only of the funding we receive from the state of Wyoming, but most importantly of the support we receive from our community, our parents and our graduates.
As a school supporter or former student here, you already know that this district is great because you have personally experienced what Hot Springs County Schools and the Thermopolis community can offer. In my own experience as both a parent and an educator, I am proud to be a part of a school system that is so richly endowed with resources that can truly make a difference for students. We are striving to be a district that is a top choice among both parents and educators. And I believe that our work every day demonstrates our continuing efforts to reach this goal.
The student environment is safe, friendly and rich with opportunity. From technology that enhances all kinds of learning to state-of-the-art facilities that provide the forum for flexible learning and teaching opportunities, we believe that students who learn in our district will be well prepared for the challenges they will face in higher education and employment. Our low student-teacher ratio provides the individualized attention that allows any of our students to choose success in school and in life.
It is my privilege to be a part of this district — and I hope you will look at this district with the pride of how it has affected your life and enriched our community. Stay in touch with us and let us know how you think we're doing. And as always, we are ever grateful for your support.
Sincerely,
Marty Kobza
